Hi Jan, xx I was thinking of you recently as a friend of mine has broken her leg twice in the last 10 weeks! the initial break didnt heal as well as expected and she fell again and is now looking at complete rest for 2 months. My heart goes out to you both :P
you're not wrong Rosetta, my fave song is you really got me going by the Kinks. It was a fave of my dads :P

The summer of 1960 just before I sat, and susequently failed, my 11plus exams.Thereby being sent to a z listd English public school rather than the local comprehensive.If Id passed of course Id have gone to the grammer school and then (possibly) to university.......An achievement immensly more difficult then, than today.

August 1968 family living in Wolverhampton, me living in London getting a job offer from fledgling television company LWT as trainee camera operator.I was persuaded not to take the job by the family biggest mistake I ever made..regret to this day....
