I have a micro hifi system which records radio, etc to an SD card. However, the format is in MP2 and I want to transfer the files to my phone to listen to at leisure. Can I change the format to MP3 so the phone will recognise them? If so, what's the best way of doing it?

Can you copy the mp2 files from the sd card onto a pc? Can your phone connect to a pc? Most can.

You could use a freeware tool called Super to convert the mp2 into mp3 on your pc. Copy to phone afterwards.

Thanks TTG. Yes, they are on my pc so will look for Super somewhere! Cheers!
You may try this converter pro. I always use it to convert video and audio for my phone, it works pretty well all the time.
