I am currently on benefits and have just moved from one bank to another. If the DWP send payments out on the Tuesday when is it likely to hit my Natwest account?

Have you changed your details with DWP?

Tuesday...

Yes I changed it with them immediately over the phone and in writing as per their request. I have not closed my previous account in case there is a problem. I used to be with Alliance and Leicester, the money would clear on a Saturday and I was able to access it on a Sunday.
I was recently claiming JSA and I signed on every other tuesday, the money reached my NatWest account the following Friday.
It will be released in time to reach your bank on your payday. There are no Saturday paydays so I presume your payday is a Monday. Because payments are released in plenty of time to reach you on your payday quite often they arrive a day early, in your case on a Saturday. Things will not change by changing banks other than your new bank not accepting the receipt of a payment over the weekend.
