ok so, i've always been a fast learner, but until recently i never knew how freakish and abnormal it was... i always get complemented at all the jobs i have for catching on in an instant, but it always seems so simple for me that i didn't think of it much. i just got a new job, and within 2 days i was doing better than some of the peopl ethat had worked there for months. so heres the thing

i do opening shifts at a gas station, we open at 5am and its pretty boring for the first few hours. i was usually just doodling or whatever, but i got bored of that so i brought my japanese/english dictionairy to work. within 3 hours, all between customers, i managed to memorize and learn all of katakana. so i brought the book in again the next day and had hiragana done in the same amount of time. i can write out every letter, and know what each one is without looking at anything for reference.

thats 92 foreign letters learnt, and memorized in a collective 6 hours between helping customers... and i never bothered with it at home cuz i have better things to do.

there must be something to do with my brain that causes this, cuz i dont know anyone that can learn this stuff this fast. please let me know, its kind of scary to be completely honest and i cant find anything when i tried looking it up

google (Eidetic memory) that should answer your question.
I don't think its eidetic memory, that's when you can project images, i had it when i was a child but it vanished as i grew up...not exactly fast learning

Ain't you the lucky one. Can I have a few of your brain cells to encourage mine to work harder!

My boss claims to have an exceptionly good memory but it is very selective and he changes his mind several weeks later. He has on occassions said in the nicest possible way i was not listening. I now take notes and remind him what was said!

Xevin, I would love to have a brain like yours.
