How do I oil my sewing machine?

I have a Pfaff Hobby sewing machine and in its booklet there's no mention of oiling. My mom used to have an old Russian Chaika sewing machine and I seem to remember it required quite a bit of oil. I saw special sewing machine oil bottles at my local crafts store, but would not know where exactly must I use it?

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Good God! I've just seen that Pfaff want between £25 and £40 for a replacement copy of their sewing machine instructions, depending on the model . Ouch-ya!
