All for good manners, it took 20 minutes today to get my three year old granddaughter to ask correctly for a drink refill, but I stood my ground , she would not exactly have keeled over through dehydration would she?
And by the way looking at your previous threads I did not persuade her by physical means but purely reinforced her way of asking politely

When I was a kid, my brother and sisters would run back from the park and tell my mum I swore and when I got home she used to grab hold of my hair, bend my head back and rub a bar of Life Bouy soap over my teeth like it was a cheese grater
