OK, probably been done to death, but following on from the Morning Slightly Later On Birds thread, what ghostly experiences have you had?

Yeah Peri, stuff of mine used to disappear all the time and turn up in odd places. Trouble is, I am a bit of a scatty cow so it could easily have been me. Scatty as I am though, I am still not sure I would have put the TV controls in the bathroom sink.

No I am not Red - whats it called? I haven;t got a camcorder - but I think dad might have. Although if I start saying I am going to video the ghosts he will think I have lost it completely. (He thinks me and mum are kind of nuts. When asked what his explanation for the banging in the attics he said "rats". Charming).

In addition to the post i put on zzxxee's thread, when i was at high school in London, a local girls school nearby was said to be haunted, as it was built partly on an old graveyard site and still had the main cemetary next to it.
One evening, we got into the science lab building, as the window was left open, to carry out a ouija board experiment, as one of my mates parents had one, in the part of the school that was said to have had apparitions/voices and strange noises coming from it.

Anyway, there was 6 of us............3 girls, 3 boys.........we got in ....had a torch and it was reasonably bright from the moon and light from streetlamps from a nearby road.

We set up the ouija board, put our fingertips on the planchette, and started to ask questions like...."is there anyone from beyond that wants to come forward"..............well, at that point, almost straight away.....................the cupboard behind us with books, papers, general stationery items etc just started shaking uncontrollably......................so we did the only thing we could!............ we screamed and ran for our lives..............it was me that had to stay the longest in there to pick up the board and all other evidence that we had been there, and it was still shaking violently when i climbed through the window.

We never did anything like that again.
Do not get involved in ouija board's..........there's something about it that's just not right.

yogi, i am concerned about ouija boards too. The team use a similar thing called a message board.

My mum had a ver scary experience with a ouija!

I once did ouija board (well more than once tbh)
Been meaning to do research on the guy who came through, said he was killed in WW1 and his wife had remarried and he was none too pleased about that. It was nearly 25 years ago and I still remember his name.

in hind sight it was probably someone walking a jack russell but it was early in the morning and very very foggy

never been anywhere near an ouija board since last experience...
the heat was unbearable and the "glass" rose about 2" from the board......scary stuff

WHEN I WAS AROUND 7 I SAW A GIRL DRESSED IN A VICTORIAN STYLE LACE DRESS I WASNT SCARED I GOT UP OUT OF BED A FOLLOWED HER SHE HAD A BALL IN HER AND AND BOUNCED IT DOWN THE STAIRS I WENT DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF STAIRS THERE WAS NO BALL OR GIRL
ONLY RECENTLY HAVE I FOUND OUT MY DADS FRIEND HAS SEEN THE SAME GIRL STANDING ON THE STAIRS
I HAD ONLY JUST TOLD MY PARENTS WHAT I HAD SEEN WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND MY DAD WAS SHOCKED WHEN I SAID AS HIS FRIEND HAD TOLD HIM ABOUT THE SAME GIRL

now that i dont know yogi. they have 10 years of investigations that i dont know about. I dont ask too much as i dont want to be anticipating things, if you know what i mean. Like when they placed me in church yard last week told me what people have heard coming fromthe tomb right in front of me. I didnt appreciate it lol

once when in on my own watching tv in the living room, the heaviest of footsteps were heard rushing down the stairs in the hall, as though they were being taken two at a time, then once at the bottom came 3 violent thumps on the sealed up door that led into the living room where i was.
went to check what the hell was going on, our dog started to bark really ferocioisly with all his hackles up at the hall, but noone was there....!!
very unnerving it was.... still to this day i dont know what it was...
i go cold each time i think/talk about it.......
