Sun Allergy?

Whenever I am out in the sun, particulary abroad I get red blotches on my skin. Any area of skin that is exposed is affected. I take Anti-Histamines and I use sun cream but I still get this, sometimes when it flares up it can last for days after. Does anyone else have this or know what it is and what I can do to prevent it?

Thank you.

I used to have that problem i used a product by ROC all i can remember is that it had orange writing on it and the doc prescibed it to me for prickly heat and it got rid of the red blotches I used it for a couple of years and havent had the problem since,Get your doc to give it you on prescription though cos its very expensive to buy.

Sounds like solar urticaria to me.  I work as a dermatologist's secretary.  See if you can be referred to a local dermatologist for further advice.
