picture sizes

why does my pics taken from my digital camera have diffrent sizes? is there anyway of changing the sizes? and also some pics just say 'image-j peg' and size, while others say what type of camera was used and a whole lot more info about it, and these pics are taken all at the same time.

it would help to tell us what camera you had perhaps?

there should be some settings somewhere, telling you about this. check your manual.
It depends what program you are using but on most, open the photo, click on Format, then dimensions. Change to 'pixels' rather than 'per cent' and type in the box whatever size you want. Experiment to see which suits you best but 400 in the width box will give a usable size. The quality will diminish if you make it too large though.

its a kodak,dx3500 2.2 megapixel. i think ive just come to terms with the fact that im no good at all this computer malarky. i think the diffrent pic sizes has somthing to do with the darkness and quality of the pic.
