I organise a weekly quiz in which we hand out a bonus round at half time to be given in at the end. You know the sort of thing, flags, pictures of actors etc. but I am fast running out of new ideas. Anyone got any suggestions and if so, where I can find these things. My brain has turned to mush tonight and I just can't think of anything new. Your ideas would be appreciated.

I went to a quiz a while ago and the bomus round was aerial pictures of towns / cities taken from Google maps and you had to identify the town / city. They were from all parts of the world. That was good fun.
At a family gathering last Christmas someone prepared a list of initials - all answers nursery rhymes, MHALL etc. It went down very well.
Close up photos of parts of household objects can be fun too.....cheesegrater, slice of bread, a whick from the bottom end etc etc

Over the years I have set several picture rounds for fun quizzes during the Summer quiz league break, for example (Place the Face - famous people whose surnames are also place names e.g.Tony Blackburn, Eric Morecambe or Feed Your Face - famous people whose surnames are also types of food or drink e.g. Sean Bean, Kevin Bacon or Whose Baby - famous people with famous parents e.g. Lily Allen, Michael Douglas as well as other themed picture rounds or dingbat rounds. If you wish I could e-mail them to you so you could use or update for your own purposes. Just let me know.
Magyar has been kind enough in the past to e-mail me a number of his dingbats and picture rounds etc, which I've used in club quizzes. I can certainly recommend them! (S)

Thank you magyar. That would be very kind of you. My email is [email protected]. I am very grateful.
Thanks for the recommendation S. I'll start e-mailing them to you tomorrow Jan, as it's a little late now. I hope you can make use of them.

It would be much appreciated. I found a site tonight that had advertising slogans that I will be using for tomorrow but anything new is always fun.
I've just e-mailed you the first one as it was only used last Tuesday entitled 'In the News (September 2009)', so thought you might want to use it tomorrow as it is still quite current.
