My 22 month old daughter still has and will only drink her milk from Avent Bottles! I've tried various bottles and cups but she is simply not interested. She'll happily have other drinks from cups and bottles (inc adult style).
When do/should toddlers stop drinking from bottles?

hello

its normal, i mean kids associate milk with their bottles, its what they know best, its how they are brought up.

i remember my daughter kept her dummy till she was 5, everyone around me just moaned and moaned on about how she was too old, but i didnt see the problem, she let it go when she was ready.

she will grow out of it just keep trying with the beaker, its not a great problem tho, at least she is getting her milk.which is a good thing.

i wouldnt of thought it wasnt a problem at that age anyway, she is still only a baby xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
HI Cybil - my son is exactly the same he was 33 months when I stopped giving him a bottle (like you had tried every other kind of cup) but he would only drink milk from his avent bottle! I think its a comfort thing but in our case I was worried he would NEVER give up. (I have a baby due in 3 months n wanted to break the habit before he starts seeing baby with a bottle) He's been fine (no tantrums or tears) however he has almost stopped drinking milk now. Onlyme is absolutely right - what a lovely answer - she is still a baby n is drinking lots of milk which is great. xx
