ive just heard that welcome car finance have just gone bust is this true?if so what will happen to the car i have on a hp agrement?i was thinking of giving back anyway as ive already paid over half

didnt that company appear out of the ashes of yes car finance which also went bust ?
in any case you can't just hand your car back - you're liable for the debt.

thanks wicker man but i was already in talks with welcome about giving it back as it was an HP aggrement and i had already paid over what i had needed to in acurding to my aggrement to give it back but since then i cannt get hold of them theryre not returning any emails letters etc
Well the car will belong to whoever buys welcome's loan portfolio or winds up the company.

That does leave you with a (hopefully) short term problem while that's sorted out.
