How to stop rugs slipping on carpet?

I have a long runner in my hall on top of the carpet. It moves constantly !

II've tried the mesh stuff and the rug grip but nothing works.

any ideas anyone please?

Dunno if it will work but it's cheap to try. Those self adhesive velcro pads, bit on the carpet, bit on the rug.
You are correct, nothing works. I`ve tried all sorts of ideas. The carpet pile is too thick thats why.

I've found a product which you spray on the back of the rug called Cybergold Anti Creep. Apparently it's GUARANTEED to stop this problem!! I just wondered if anyone has tried it?
You want the "fleece" type of rug underlay, not the mesh. It's available from several online shops, for example, Rugs and Stuff (www.rugsandstuff.co.uk).
