On word 2002 the hyperlink option is on the Items menu. This has an option to link to an email address. Imagine 2003 is the same or improved!
Shortcut is Ctrl +k

Won't that simply insert a hyperlink to an email address?

If you want the button to save the document (?amended document?) and automatically send the entire document to that email address I think it may entail a little more than just a hyper link.  Wish I knew how though as I would like to be able to do this too.

You're absolutely right Jules. In future I shall actually read the question.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I posted the same question in a news group on the Microsoft website and someone gave me some Visual Basic code to put behind a control button. This used the routing slip facility in Word 2003. This did work after a fashion but if the person filling in the form made a mistake and tried to send it a second time, it couldn't be done. Anyway, I am still working on this and will keep you posted.
