no way the thing is there is no need to be unkind on here no matter where you are from or who you are friends with. I do not put people down on here, I enjoy the banter and join in where suits. There are people who i get oon with on here, some i know better than others and some who ignore me for some unknown reason. Thing is they dont really know me just how i am on here. And so i try to be nice to all those who are friendly and those that arent as i dont see the point in being nasty. You should ease up on the personalisations and negativity

3. Pinky: Bishopstown, just outside of Cork City! My mother's / mothers side of family lived in 33 Lwr Lesson St, Dublin - think it's all part of a hotel now?? Not Sure?

4. Pericat, Live at present in Ballydownfine, just outside Belfast. - Near Airport! Husband, of 8 yrs (lived together for previous 7 years!) hails from Belfast!

5. Pasta: As only new to site, I'm not aware of previous! So, for me it was only a wind up! Did take that into consideration and did apologise, but that was flung back in my face! & as Christy Moore says, or whoever - 'An eye for and Eye until we are all blind'! Don't excuse me / my ways, but as I say, I'm too old / too long in the tooth to be also lambasted for no good reason - don't make me right! But don't make the other person right either.

Yes, we were laughing at you with the pregnancy thing beauj, but I'm afraid leggy didn't see it like that. The reason that this didn't strike him as being amusing, is because similar posts've been put up in the past - which got very tiring, to put it mildly. The various threads were meant in an unpleasant way - NOT as a joke - and so when you started with your own, it obviously brought back the feelings of anger. If there's one thing that Leggy is, it's caring about his family. He gets on with his ex partner these days, and adores his son. Just one of those things that life's moved on in the way it has.
Also - to noway - I don't know where you're getting the idea from that pasta speaks as Leggy tells her to. Like most of his friends on here, we're all independently minded and of decent intelligence, and just because we don't come on with threats and foul language, doesn't make any of us sycophants.

House in the Costa's is in Los Boliches, between Malaga & Fuengirola! We go there approx 4 - 5 times a year!

Cork house, my cousin lives in it - which suits me! Her husband's practice is only a mile from the house, (GP) so we normally go down to it @ Easter & over the 12th when they are away to their place in Barleycove!

Last lot of years, due to my disability, we have not being down as often, journey in car too long for me! & the airfare is unbelievable - more than we pay to Malaga for the whole years trips!

Ice, I accept everything you are saying! But what more can I do? I have openly apologies to Legs and he still abuses me - - - - which, may I point out, he started, long before I got into - what I thought was - 'Banter Back'! I do not know of his previous, as he should now be aware off.

What I can say, is when HE is on site and 'dishing it out to me', NOBODY comes to back me up - wrong term really, but you know what I am saying here? I'm either ignored or certain people simply agree with him, the same people who have had decent conversations with me previous.

& I am not going to say anything different, but there are comments he makes to you all that I personnelly find offensive. I also accept the fact that, if you are happy with them, then that is your choice, & I do not, nor ever have, pulled the rug from under his feet when he makes such remarks. However, it does leave one to think, 'How hippocratical is that?'

You, of all people, are aware, how sympathetic I am to others plights, I am a caring person. So maybe, you can get that through to your friend and we will not have this aul crap on here.

I'm personally not disputing what you say beauj - that's your own business anyway - but I was just trying to convey that the things you said could've been very hurtful if leggy'd got a partner reading in.
When jokes are bandied around, it's fair enough, but when directed at one person in particular, without knowing the history of that person, it can come across as deliberately nasty or cause hurt.
Anyway, I'm leaving this thread now, because I just want to have a few words with someone.

Oh - and sorry. I must've been typing whilst you replied, because I've only just noticed your last post.

I understand what you've said, although I'm not quite sure what you mean about Leggy's remarks to the rest of us being offensive. I've personally never found him so - I don't think any of of us who know him quite well've ever been offended in the slightest.
He cracks jokes with pasta, pink, MWB, NoMercy, ummmm, rabbity - the list is endless - but we all know when he's just playing and when he's not.
You HAVE said that you're sorry, and that'd be the end of it if it was me, but I can't speak for how Leggy feels YOU'VE offended HIM. That's just something which you either have to sort out yourselves, or ignore.
You could always phone him yourself and try to work things out in private. He's not an unreasonable person, and he won't lie to you, but as pink said earlier, putting people down for the sake of it isn't very nice at all, so it's best just to talk to those you want to, and not mention those you don't.
