I've reached one of those unsatisfactory situations when one is not happy with the solutions one has and could do with a little guidance.
15 across, clue: Drug users tart goes to toilet (4-4). I have ?C??-?E?D. I have SCAG-WEED.
16 down, clue: A particular type of strong wind(4,5). I have: G?S? S?O?M. The G is from SCAG. I think it must be STORM but I can only come up with GUST STORM which I find very weak. Help please.

Thank you greyfox. How wrong one can be? Totally on the wrong tack. It was the "weed" that threw me!
