what is a food processor used for? im looking for something to make cakes, ie a mixer aswell as chop up veg etc. ive seen a processor on sale and it says it has different blades for chopping, so wondering if i can use if for cakes, batters, biscuits

I always make my sponges in my food processor and they are always lovely and light., just be careful to stir in fruit nuts etc if making a fruit cake as the procesor will chop them to bits.
