Fuji Finepix A405 camera query?

I've erased all the images on the camera but the frame counter at the top right hand side of the LCD monitor is still showing 759-999 rather than 0-999.  When it gets to 999-999 will it stop recording pictures?  I can't see how to reset it to zero, is this something i can/need to do?

Are you sure u erased the pics properly? Was the cam still connected to the PC when u did this? I think there are blank pics still saved on the memory card ( like an empty file). Try erase all frames option on ur cam.

On my Finepix (different model) there is an option in the setup to either reset the counter each time the images are cleared or have the counter continue from the last image. It is useful to have it do this if you download more than one card in the same directory and not overwrite the first card's pictures with the second.
