Well, it seems that there is a biccie appreciation society among us.

Just checked my cupboard and it seems I have a stockpile of dunking delights: M&S Dutch Shortcake biscuits, Bourbon creams, milk chocolate-coated butter biscuits, and all-butter shortbread fingers. Any takers?

JJ - I don't actually eat biscuits, except for on the rare occasion when I need a sweet fix. The ex stocked up on them when he was over in England with me the other week and brought them back in his suitcase.
Haven't double booked yourself now have you sqadlet?!
''But if the ex tries to look down my cleft, he'll be wearing his Heineken''

Give the man a break... he was only looking for the last Garibaldi...
Who said garibaldis?..........love 'em!

But from your list, NoM..........short bread finger please and i can dunk it in my hot chocolate! ( big mug of course with whipped cream!)
xx

Bourbon cream please NoM.......can you dunk in iced coffee?
barmaid/NoM......oooops! sorry barmaid didn't see you........well I was going to suggest a pleasant evening with you and NoM as inviting you both, would put you at your ease, as dining with someone of my prescence could well be daunting for you both.

NoM.....anything from the Ribero del Duero........Haza, Protos..........the Crianza.........I cannot tell the difference in tast between Crianza and Reserva.
ahem.....
oooOOOoooooh, do you have any M&S Dutch Shortcake left, per chance?
Question Author
Craft - an iced coffee would be very welcome right now.

Sqad - I love the Protos too. I've tried Roble, Crianza and Reserva. Like you, I cannot differentiate between the latter two, and so have concluded that the Reserva is not worth paying the extra 14 or so euros for. Mercadona do a Gran reserva for about 35 euros or something, but I haven't tried that. I have to say though that I am leaning towards cold white wine in this weather.

LOL Snags.
Hi Rinky baby xx

How's it hangin'?

Question Author
Got a double pack of those, Lore. Plenty left.

Rinkins - I've just found another pack of choccie-covered shortcake, and I'm saving those especially for you. xx

Sqad - just a thought.... if you ever come across a red called Silvanus Crianza ('04 or '05), try it !! You won't be disappointed...
Question Author
Yogi - I'll melt some chocolate and coat your shortbread fingers in it. A little touch just for you.... xx
