Angel...will you need a job reference for any new position??
Don't burn your bridges if you do. To just ' walk out ' will follow you....and give you a bad rep. That won't help you get ahead.
No matter how much you don't want to 'waste your youth'...be sensible.
Well the positive things that came out of it were my mum telling me that when she was younger her and her friend just got in the car, no jobs, nowehere to live, and went looking for jobs up country and the other positive thing was going to the party made me realise that my life really is as bad as I thought it was for someone my age and that I really do need to get out more and that I really could have a better life if I take some action NOW
oh dear, I know you feel depressed angel but give it some proper thought, my brother struggled for almost a year to find another job after saying he had enough of his old job.
when you have a job you always assume that there is something out there, but it isnt. Also remember that whatever emotional issues you are going through now in your current job will not disappear if you up and leave. wherever you go you will still have to deal with the same issues you are going to run away from.
Well I've gone for the inbetween option - neither sensible nor not sensible - and that is I have handed my resignation in and will be here for at least a month
sounds very non sensible to me Im afraid, the most sensible thing you should have done was look for another job whilst you still have the job you have then hand in your notice when you have secured another position.
you will be faced with making up a reason why you left the job you have as companies dont like to take on people that leave on a whim....
