the school curriculum probably looks at 50 years, my Grandson has been covering the second World war at his primary school, but in UNI they tend to go into the post war consumer boom and the western cultural influences of the post war era

I dunno if it's relevent really but your question reminded me of the song which I think has some truth to it. When did I get older?
