i remember pacers, quatro was green and wasn't the can white with four coloured squares in the shape of a big square...what about sweet tobacco, and the yellow chewing gum nuggets in a little drawstring pouch!
I remember quatro as being not very nice, it was supposed to be four fruits I think, but all I could taste was passionfruit.

I used to love the bars of Milk Tray.
I think Pacers were originally Opal Mints, 'though they were just white.
Before being 'Pacers' and having the green and white stripes, they were actually plain white squares and called 'Opal Mints' (as in sister sweet to 'Opal Fruits' - now known as 'Starburst'.)
Sorry Chillum, either cross-posted or I missed your answer.
crossed post brachiopod. I think we had many similar tastes.

was it just the wrappers that were green then white or the sweets themselves?? im sure they werent stripey?
i thought  they were diagonally  stripey and so was the wrapper..did the advert have ice skaters in it..
Quatro was nice and had a really cool advert... PACERS yes I remember them. I bought a whole pack and ate them and felt violently sick. Now the sight of green and white stripes together brings back the taste and the sick feeling.(Sorry Celtic)
