I didnt even like him personally or as a performer and his music didnt do it for me -that said I cant take away the fact that he was a genius albeit flawed .

So for that i salute him for the pleasure he brought to so many people through his music.

On saying all that I will concede and say that Thriller was a work of art and I love watching that vid which was effectively a mini film -now that was genius IMO

Scream is my favourite music & video combination that he did. Thriller is such a classic it can't be classified with the rest and stands alone in my opinion.

Got the full version of this recorded on video tape but never get the vids out anymore. Think I might soon.

Micheal Jackson had showmanship beaten into him as a child - literally! He grew up knowing that the only way his life would be ok would be to perform - and perform well!

He did that better than anyone else in popular music has ever done.

I'm glad he lived and will always remember him for the fantastic feeling that listening to his music gave me.
