I've always paid for my software & have never downloaded anything illegally & wouldn't wish to.

The reason for posting my original question on Microsoft Powerpoint, which has since been removed (& I can see why Ed), was because I phoned a supplier yesterday to ask the price of this software for my granddaughter's school homework & was told I could try downloading it free via the website I mentioned.

This person obviously shouldn't have told me that & I will now pop into my local suppliers & pay 85 for it instead!

Just thought I'd put the record straight - being the honest person I am!

No problem smudge. It is rather exorbitant for what it is and unfortunately, people downloading it for free only push the price up.

Like Bill Gates needs your 85 eh?
If you missed the last post I put on your original question you can download a 60day trial of office, including PP, for free from microsoft perfectly legally.

Also the student edition is less than 85

Thank you anotherview, I wholeheartedly agree!

Thank you too Chuck. I had already looked up the free 30 day trial offer at Microsoft, but will buy it anyway.

I was going to pop into Staples, but will certainly look at buying it from Amazon instead. Much cheaper!

Thanks again.
