Hi all. On the one hand this should be in Technology but on the other hand there will probably be more twitterers in ChatterBank. I'm not on Twitter myself but this message is spreading like wildfire on Facebook and elsewhere:

If anyone is on Twitter, set your location to Tehran and your time zone to GMT +3.30.Apparently security forces use location/timezone searches to hunt Iranian bloggers.

...and I was wondering does that really work do you think? Surely they're able to tell anyway which country a person's computer is located in?

Hi swedeheart.
Im not on twitter,.but The more people that do this, the more harder it gets for the repressive irainian forces to stop the people's right to access the internet .and should slow them down. Im sure the twitter community will help in there thousands.
