OOJackOO, you may be correct but I cannot find that term anywhere. Several references I have looked up refer to a group of rabbits as a nest of rabbits.
It appears to be one of those things where you can please yourself which you like best.
Colony, nest, wrack, trip, trace, drove, husk, leash, warren, down, bury or herd. Some usually only refer to domesticated or young, but they are all rabbits.
As wildwood says its a take your pick situation but I've always found this site pretty usefull for this sort of thing http://www.pubquizhelp.com/index.html
According to one (reputable) website,ALL the following are applicable:~
bury of rabbits
colony of rabbits
down of rabbits
drove of rabbits
husk of rabbits
leash of rabbits
trace of rabbits
trip of rabbits
warren of rabbits
Agree Mr Veritas. And according to another I have just discovered, all yours plus those already mentioned (flick, kindle, nest, wrack) are also correct. Wonder why there are so many collective names for rabbits.
