Shower Spray

I have just put in a mixer tap to the ordinary bath hoping that I could use it as a shower spray by simply turn the taps on. The problem is that the what has no force behin to produce a good spray. The bath is at first floor and the hot water cylinder and the cold tank are on the same floor level in a conventional arrangement. Somebody told me that this may be the poblem. Anybody knows what could be done to get a good spray?

If you go to your local b and q there are pumped showers (where the pump and shower are one unit), also shower pumps which are bigger and separate from the shower. They have a handy display board explaining what to do
