I have recently installed a humax + box and dish mainly to get rid of picture breakup on freeview, when scooters and some cars go by, I wonder if I can purchase a one of payment card to recieve some of sky chanels?
the picture I now get is superior to freeview and the very limited number of HD chanels is very good, no picture breakup now.
I do not want to go on sky monthly payments.

You cannot get Sky on any BBC/ITV "freesat" boxes.

Sky do their own Freesat service where you pay a one off charge for the dish/box but no monthly charge.

"Can I get Sky channels?
No, the freesat products are designed for FREE channels from freesat; it is not possible to receive/upgrade to Sky Pay TV channels"

You've opted to receive 'Freesat', which is (confusingly), not the same as 'Freesat from Sky'. If you've swapped to a Sky box (about 20 on eBay) and bought a viewing card from Sky (19.57), you'd get this selection of channels:

but you'd lose the HD capability.
