Can anyone please tell me how much current is drawn by the very bright white LED's that are often used in torches these days? I guess that the voltage is something like 3 volts being used in hand torches
Thank you. Are you referring to the 12 volt MR16 Halogen spots? I was meaning the small white LED's that are about the same size and shape as the traditional coloured LED's. My daughter bought me a hand torch which uses such a device and the battery seems to be lasting 'forever' which I suggest means very low current drawn by the LED and the brightness of the torch is incredible.
