cruising for older disabled

My friend and I (80) would like to try a cruise but I have to use a mobility scooter. I cannot see any way of getting my scooter to the port/ Does anyone know of any cruise company who hires out mobility scooters on site. We thought we would like to do a "round the UK" trip Any suggestions,

well when I was on P&O's Aurora there were quite a few people on mobility scooters.....will just look in brochure,,

no I've just checked the P&O brochure and they don't provide them.....

Thank you VERY much, I shall go thro' the P & O cruises and am sure I'll find something to suit us. I've been trawling the web for ages for the mobility question, I think AB is a wonderful site and have had many worrying questions answered. Again MANY THANKS

All the modern cruise ships will cater with specially designed accessible rooms. RCI are possibly the best with their facilities. They will put you in touch with a company that will supply and deliver a scooter to your room if you do not want to take your own.
