Such a sad sad story. A girl at my work still lives with her mum and dad and they bought a brand new Jack Russell puppy about 3 weeks ago. His name is Buster but he is only about 9 weeks old so not yet had vaccinations and not allowed outside yet.
Last night burglars broke into their house while they were all sleeping and stole two expensive cars from the driveway and handbags/phones etc and the little puppy!!!!
She and her family are totally devastated and although they dont care about cars and money they are desperate to try to get their puppy back.
Any advice welcome.
We are making some posters and leaflets for them to send out. I have recommended they get in touch with all the local vets practices too incase the 'new owner' takes him in for vaccinations. But not sure the sort of people who buy puppies in pubs etc give a damn about vaccinations... Please help!

thanks I;ll point that out to her and see if she can get dogs lost to change it. The posters we have done here all do state the area he went missing in and a whole load got sent out last night with more being printed off today
The Dog Lost poster says missing from Whitton (TW2).
did the dog have any identifing marks because they will be useful and have they good photos of the pup to identify it??

Maybe the key is to get a couple of people not connected to the family to actually pretend they are looking for a small dog, maybe ask around in pet shops, animal pet related places like dog walking areas and parks, and advertise in the paper under animals wanted saying 'small friendly pup wanted for grandchildren', dont sound too much like you know what the dog needs i.e vacinations etc, this might put them off if people are asking too many questions, maybe you can reel them in?
They may contact the family and threaten to harm the puppy unless a ransom is paid. This is happening quite a lot lately.
Or it could be that they didn't target the pup but when they saw it decided they could make something from selling it. Or, they could want it for themself!
Did they ever find their puppy?

No wolf.. sadly they didnt.

no sign or news of him at all... other than 6 points on their driving licence as the stolen car was doing 95mph in a 30mph limit near North Circular.....
I used to dread somebody breaking into my house and hurting my late dog (looking back the dog would probably have put up a hell of a fight) or my cats.

Some people are just scum.

I know Wolf... all we can hope is that he is at least being cared for properly... and has a loving new family... to think otherwise sickens me
