If I wanted to get a three piece suite from East Sussex to Cheshire how would I go about it? Hiring a van for self drive is not an option

Thanks - if and when - I shall bear that in mind. Seen adsd in local papers

It's 250 miles roughly each way. A 500 mile round trip in a van could easily use 20 gallons of fuel. I suspect you're looking at �200+.

Spend a bit of time with Yellow Pages looking at Removals and storage, and see if you can get a part load deal when they have something else to deliver to that area.
