Reposting this as I got an answer, but not the correct one, unfortunately.

I've had a song in my head for some time, which I'm pretty sure I heard on TV behind an advert for something - perhaps rugby, but definitely something fast paced, anyway.

I've hummed the damned tune to everyone I can think of, but perhaps my humming's not that good - this morning I came up with the idea of creating a little MP3 of how it goes in my head to see if anyone can help me out, so here's me playing it as I think it sounds on my guitar.

What you hear is how it is in my head, not neccessarily how it actually is. Hopefully it will be close enough that someone can identify it for me...?

I've put the MP3 here...apologies for crapness of playing.

Thanks for the answer - the song I'm looking for is rock genre though, whereas World In Union is...well..almost a ballad, isn't it?
sounds a little like immigrant song by led zeppelin to me.

Yes, Midomi thought it was that too, but it's not...!

Bump
Is that the actual tempo of the track? The only track I could think of that comes close is the intro to To Get Down by Timo Maas.

I can definitely see why you may have thought that, as there is a similar sound - it's not that though, unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion though...!
