Reposting this as I got an answer, but not the correct one, unfortunately.

I've had a song in my head for some time, which I'm pretty sure I heard on TV behind an advert for something - perhaps rugby, but definitely something fast paced, anyway.

I've hummed the damned tune to everyone I can think of, but perhaps my humming's not that good - this morning I came up with the idea of creating a little MP3 of how it goes in my head to see if anyone can help me out, so here's me playing it as I think it sounds on my guitar.

What you hear is how it is in my head, not neccessarily how it actually is. Hopefully it will be close enough that someone can identify it for me...?

I've put the MP3 here...apologies for crapness of playing.

Cheers

Oh...that's strange. I think it fires up and embedded QT player, or WMP if you don't have QT.
Your speaking foreign now paul! ;0)
not that it helps you any, but i got it to play ok. The bit that doesn't help you is that I don't recognise the tune- sorry.

Sorry...it'll either play using QuickTime on your machine, or Wndows Media Player. If not, then you could right click the link, and do a "Save Target As" to your desktop, and then play it that way...

Thanks for listening, Boo.
Tried it in media window player, it said an error had occurred. I'm no help at all! x
Question Author
10 / 10 for trying though...! If you could play it, I'm pretty certain you'd come back and say you didn't recognise it anyway, as no-one seems to even recognise it, let alone know what it is :o)
Hum it for us! Go! ;0)
It''ll drive you mad trying to think of what it is now!
Question Author
I think you are probably the only person left in the universe that I haven't hummed it to...

Thanks - hopefully he may know...!

(* sigh *)
*The World In Union" was used for the Rugby Union World Cup and is based on "Jupiter" from Gustav Holst's " Planet Suite". Don't know if that's the one you want or not.
