I have an album which I have managed to add to the library before and it played fine, then all of a sudden it refuses to play any of the songs in that album, the location of the files have not been changed, to i removed the files from the library and went through add files, then add folder, then playing each individual file from explorer, and Nothing... It refuses to add to the library, no error messages just does not add or play, however it will play using other media players. The only problem is, I want it on my iPod, and if it refuses to go into the library it won't go onto the iPod. I have re-installed iTunes with no luck. Any Ideas as to why it won't play the album, after it has done fine previously? File format is unprotected mp3.

Cheers

Can you put the CD into your computer and re-import them?

If you are going to use an iPod, you would be better importing in AAC format rather than MP3. You can change the import settings in iTunes preferences and then General.

Can't import CD again, but shouldn't need to anyway, as it works perfectly well with other media players.
