I'm making a birria with shin of beef. Been in since 11.30 but just tasted it again and I think I've put too much chocolate in. Its gone a bit thick and too rich. I've made it several times before and its been delicious. Is it salvageable? Is there anything I can put in to counteract the chocolate???
Thanks

What on earth is a birria ? I'm a right foodie and I've never heard of that !

Its a mexican stew with tomatoes and chillies and dark chocolate (amongst other stuff)
You have to marinate the shin overnight but its well worth the effort if you like to try new stuff.
Google 'Birria Thomasina Miers' . I would post a link but I'm not that clever.
