To err is human, to forgive divine is from An Essay on Crticism by Alexander Pope
Paraphrased on many occasions e.g.

To err is human, to really screw up you need a computer

To err is human, to forgive is not <insert name of your employer> policy
Two other widely used quotes from Pope's "Essay on Criticism"...

"A little learning is a dangerous thing"
("drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring,
there shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
and drinking largely sobers us again".)

and

"Fools rush in where angels fear to tread."

Also the Jim Carrey / Kate Winslet movie title "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" was taken from the same poem which is, in my opinion, a staggeringly impressive work. The poem I mean, though the movie was no stinker!
