15 years younger than Eileen if the current stroyline is to be believed as her mother is the same age as Eileen and had her when she was 14.

Kirk is supposed to be 26 in the soap (and Andy Whyment is 28 in real life).

Katy Cavanagh, who plays Julie, is 35 in real life, and she's apparently supposed to be 33/34 in the soap.

I agree Janet - but I always think that Kirk's about 20 - he never seems to age. I'm surprised he's really 28. So if we'd all gone around looking gormless for years we'd never have got our wrinkles!!

I think she's Eileen's sister, and Eileen will find out it was her own father who was her friend's 'older man'.
Julie Carp has only been in Coronation Street as Kirk's boyfriend. We don't know much about her past.

Julie looks the same age as her mother (played by the excellent actress Sharon Duce). I can't believe they are suposed to be mother & daughter. One looks much older than her age (I thought she was in her 40's), the other looks younger than she really must be.

I agree with Barry... the way that Julie's mother was looking at Eileens dad the other day was very odd.. and I'm given to understand that Julie was born after a secret affair when her mum was quite young... it all fits... ;-)
