Whilst playing chess my opponent has placed his queen next to my king and I am in cheque his queen is protected by his castle but if I take his queen he can not move his castle as this puts his king in cheque by my queen, my opponent says I can not take his queen, as my king would be in cheque by his castle but he can not move his castle, who is correct?

no knowledge to be stuck on a certain aspect of a game does not mean that person has no knowledge of the game, if you want people to listen to what you have to say maybe you should pick a better name for yourself other than "no knowledge"
how big is the hole you are digging now diggerman?
it 's been explained to you but you can not comprehend the answer so like i said , take up draughts pal.

well to be honest knobby i think you would be a better draughts player than a chess player.
i think when digger as a short nap and re addresses this question his firsts word will be

DOH!
i like checkers
Diggerman cannot take the opponent's queen as he will have made an illegal move by putting himself in check. He must move away from the queen. It is not a draw situation.

That sounds sooooooo gay noknow...
lol does it really .
chimp when you leave please 'shut that door'
From my understnading of chess rules, you cannot move into check. So:
- Your friend is right.
- Buenchico is right.
- Squarebear is right.
- Knobby is not right.
- And No-knowledge's contribution isn't particularly helpful.
