Does anyone remember how to make the dessert from a few years ago that was on a Sainsbury 'ideas' card, it involved grapes, strawberries, creme fraiche and some sort of biscuit, I used to make it loads then everyone got fed up with it (as you do) but would love to make it again.

yep, fresh fruit brulee, i have the card here in front of me.
8 oz. fresh strawbs,
4 oz seedless grapes
1 fresh peach
8-10 ratafia biscuits
2 x 200ml tubs creme fraiche
4-6 oz light brown soft sugar
chop/slice all the fruit into a bowl. place ratafia biscuits on top. spread the creme fraiche over it and chill for at least an hour. sprinkle over the sugar and smooth the top. place under hot grill for 1-2 minutes until sugar has caramelised.

personally, i use loads more fruit and probably 2 or 3 times the number of ratafia biscuits (to completely cover the top).
like you, i used to make it a lot but haven't done it for ages, must have a go this week-end.

I made this last weekend, my daughter said I used to put kiwi fruit in it instead of peaches, it was delicious but it always looks disgusting the next day if there is any left! Enjoy yours Mrs-P, I'm sure you'll be giving it a go now you have the recipe courtesy of ethandron.
