Whats the daftest thing

you have ever done ?
It was winter, you know dark all the time.
Alarm went of at 7ish, and I jumped up for work.
As I was driving to work I thought the roads are very quiet today.
When I got there I couldnt get in the door, I knocked and one of the staff opened it and said what are you doing here ?
To work of course. (residential home)
Turned out I had fell asleep after my days work and when the alarm went off for me to get up and go out it was pm not am.
I never lived that down.

I used to be a shift worker , and did loads of
overtime ..so i was always tired ..one day I got
up at 4am showered etc , looked at the calendar .
and it was the wrong day ...so lovely to get back
in to bed !!!!

I got up early for work and pi55ed around, set fire to the toaster (thick toast not popping up) and hairdrier smelling of burnt something.

I then took the dog for a walk (a quick walk) and he took off down the High Street after a flaming cat. Spent an hour wandering around trying to find him. A nice lady brought him home (all 9 stone plus of him) but he had been rolling in something foul and needed a shower. Showering a bull-mastiff cross in a shower cubicle is never easy.

I was late for work .....
