can anyone tell me if this diet is still based on the points system according to your weight. thinking about doing it again, have so many recipe books that are based on the points system, wondering if i could still use them.

Yes - it's still based on the points system - it's called the Discover Plan at the minute. I can't see a problem with using your old books, however I'm sure registration is free at the moment if you wish to get the updated books. I had all the books from the core plan a few years back but decided to go back cos I don't stick to it unless I'm getting weighed every week. I've lost eight pounds in a fornight, only need to loose another 6 and I'm at target! Weigh in tonight!
Yes, you can still use your books - another little tip - a lot of the Tesco's Healthy Options range have Weight watcher points printed on them - very useful.

I loosely follow a weight watchers diet - but I have never been to a meeting in my life - I just know how many points I should eat and have the discipline to eat that.
