on my mondeo mk3 there is a switch on the left handside of the steering column that works the cd/radio etc how do i remove it as it needs replacing ive give it a gud tug but to no avail do i need remove the cowling etc

Almost certainly the cowl has to be removed and the chances are its held on with 'torx' screws.
