i support Swindon so you may say what do i know about football but i have been stunned by Liverpool over the last week, i do notice a lot of bile directed towards LIverpool and Benitez in particular on here so i hope these same people have the good grace to praise Liverpool, 4-0 Real Madrid 4-1 Man Utd - awesome! whatever their inconsistencies they are are as good as any side in Europe when they turn it on.

leeds are playing you (Swindon) at Elland Road, Leeds Utd is my home town.. cmoon Leeds!! (0-0 half time)

anyway Im a Liverpool fan! fantastic display today. im still in shocked that we beated Manure 4-1!!
The point of contention is that they don't 'turn it on' regularly . Other than that no arguement
After reading the comments posted on here it seems that most people are Shocked! Myself included but a deserved victory it has to be said for L'poolians.

Makes me wonder why Rooney was so upset and then quiet today...is it bonus week in scouse-land or something?

Kick up the @rse that we (United) needed. but well done mighty greys.
whitebear-shocked u beat man u why?
they are not unbeatable you know.
as it showed today, man u heads all over the place.
no doubt the excuse will be:-knackered from wednesdays match
northboy, i was shocked of the score line. i knew before the game it could go either way.... but comon 4-1? when was the last time Manure ever got beaten by that score line at Old Trafford??

:)
Yes, well done Liverpool and well done Rafa. Now, as soon as he realises that you get the same number of points for beating Manure and Chelsea, as you do for beating Stoke, West Ham, Middlesbrough, Fulham etc, etc, the more seriously fans are going to take Liverpool in the league. Thirteen points in five games against their three main rivals should be just the springboard they need for an assault on the title, but once again they will come up short. Rafa has, in my opinion, a squad as good as any in the country (contrary to public belief, I don't think they are just a two-man team), and a team well capable of winning in Europe again. Well done, again. I, for one, don't relish facing Liverpool in the Champions League.
