yep, it all gets boring as you get older, easter, xmas, birthdays, life..... BUT there is hope, in a certain supermarket (often frequented by jamie oliver) they have fat pink choccy pigs, much nicer and i agree, eggs were more fun when the goodies were inside.... but thats cos they were made fatter and could stand up to some battering to get the middle out but now they are thin and wouldnt be able to hold anything.... happy easter :0) oh yeah, and dont foget, you have to eat fish on good friday (so i'll be down the chippy) x
I agree , there also a lot cheaper these days
I have been looking for a more interesting egg to buy the kids this year , and I cant find anything, we dont have a Jamie Oliver store here ..lol
Do they not do cadbury fudge easter eggs no-more,couldn't find one last year either??or bounty or mini-eggs!
Hi electric, I bought my mum a HUGE Cadbury's Mini Egg one yesterday from Tesco. Two huge bags of the eggs and a massive easter egg (it was a tenner though- but she's worth it) x

omg they have caramac kit kats???
Woolies trip tomorrow I think!!!

The sweets were in cellophane bags inside the eggs in the good old days........You could smell the chocolate as they weren't all packed in plastic.

Caramac eggs - am i right in thinking these featured an owl on the packaging?

I'm just looking forward to next week when all the Easter Eggas willl be half price!

Is anyone else old enough to remember when the chocolate was so thick that it took ages to break into the egg? And that was when I had all my own teeth.

No Snickers eggs either.

I agree, but if you look online there are some really unique and unusual, Easter Egg gifts, I tried www.chocolatedeli.net and found a 10% off code on myvouchercodes site that gave me 10% my purchase which was even better, EASTER10 I think it was, they were pretty quick to deliver, too.
