wedding wear dilemma?

right short sweet and to the point i hope but i have been invited to an evening do for a neighbours wedding, its in the biggest wedding hotel in town and i am stuggling with how to dress for it. would i be overdressed in a dress? would trousers (i.e not jeans!) be more suitable. small simple wedding.

Either. You will be mingling with people from the day do so you will not appear over dressed no matter what you wear.

arrgghh so noe the dilemma thickens to what style etc looks like i better start shopping!
if it is a big wedding hotel, I guess it will be quite a formal occasion during the day and so most people will be dressed from the daytime, maybe a chic party look with a bit of glitz would be the safe bet.

I agree with Dot. The 2 dresses shown'd be fine to wear at the reception, especially as you could wear the red one with, or without shoulder straps. The tulip styles are very flattering also, so you'd look casually glam without going over the top.
