............which is similar to a chain letter about drinking and driving? It contains a poem that is supposed to be written by a girl who has been hit by a drunken driver and is lay dying on the ground. It asks you to sign it and send it to everyone you know, but I don't do petitions. No matter what for. That doesn't mean I have no sympathy for things. I just don't sign petitions. And right at the end of this one it calls you a horrible name if you don't forward it. Well, I won't be forwarding it. End of story.

My mum received a chain letter years ago, being the superstitious type, she went to pieces over it so I told her to pass it to me - that way she'd followed the instructions. Needless to say, I just ripped it up.

You shouldn't have to sign or forward anything you don't wish to. I really don't like the fact that people who have my email address think I would want to be a part of such things.
- Especially if it has a horrible/threatening message at the end.

Just delete it and think nothing else of it.

If you wish to help causes and charities then it should be done in your own time and on your terms. Not by force of a threatening letter.

Hi 10ClarionSt - I received an email like that a while ago and deleted it. I do tend to get quite a lot of those "chain e-mails" from people but rarely pass them on. And no harm has come to me.....yet!!
