No - credit history is attached to the individual, not the address.

Thanxs ethel how can i improve my credit rating and how does your credit history move with you
for a complete explanation, go to www.experian.co.uk or www.equifax.co.uk
If it is registered against YOU at your old address then it will follow you. If it is registered against someone else at your old address then it won't.
You can't get the bankruptcy off your credit records until 6 years after you became bankrupt. It should then drop off automatically.

But you won't then suddenly find it easy to get credit. You will have no credit history at all & potential creditors don't like that! - except for teenagers?

Unless you are lucky, building up a credit record again is a slow & laborious business. For example, you can sometimes get a pre-pay credit card (I believe Capital One used to do them) &, if you don't cause problems with it, may eventually get it turned into a normal credit card. Also, you may be able to get the bank which you have a basic account with (I assume that is the type you have) to turn it into a full current account.
