does anyone know how to clear the search suggestions on google?

I've cleared the history but need to clear the search suggestion drop downs when typing something into google, I've been planning a big surprise but dont want them to guess it!! any ideas?

on mine I go into settings, then toolbar, toolbar settings clear history might not all be the same though I suppose

Rather than clearing them all if there is only a few then click in the search area and press the down arrow you can then use the arrows to move up and down through the list and press delete to remove ones you don't want any more.

It's such a pain when you go to type in "birthday party" ...

Google a bit of software called "ccleaner" (yes, with two c's)

It removes all traces of everything. It even clears your "recent document" lists in Word and Excel.
