Minimised windows

My windows used to minimize to taskbar & appear side by side now they are near to notification area grouped on top of each other with arrow beside to switch between them .How do I get them back as before ?

Right click on the task bar and select toolbars and see what toolbars you have showing on the taskbar.

Sounds like you have an extra unneeded toolbar on it at the moment that is pushing the minimized windows across.

or look in toolbar properties (right click the toolbar - select properties from the menu)
and untick group similar icons

OK sussed it , turned quick launch off & then back on , fine now . Apologies Chuck if that's what you meant

it's close to what I meant, you had probably increased the size of your quick launch so it was not leaving enough space, turning it off and on again reset the size.

Now right click anywhere on your taskbar and select lock the task bar to stop it happening again.
